But over the course of the century, the coat grew in popularity for daytime use and eventually supplanted the frock coat as the fashion of the day. Now used for very formal events, they are often seen being worn by gents.
Our version has peak lapels with one exterior breast pocket and one button to secure the front of the coat. Two interior breast pockets offer a place to hold a gentleman’s necessities. The back features two matching buttons while the tails have a single vent.
